Hurricane Florence – relive the September 2018 Hurricane in video

The Hurricane had a lifespan of five days, 14th September – 18th December. Not including the development period.

Hurricane Florence was a long-lived Category 4 Hurricane that made landfall1 on the morning of the 14th September near Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina.

1: as a Category 1 Hurricane – Category 4 Hurricane whilst over the Atlantic.

Florence caused devastating “freshwater” flooding across much of the southeastern United States and substantial storm surge flooding in portions of eastern North Carolina.

The Hurricane was directly responsible for the deaths2 of twenty two people. Florence caused approxminetly twenty four billion dollars in damage in the U.S.

2: The Hurricane was associated with thirty indirect deaths.
